Hey there, students! The Global Youth Committee would like to invite you to attend the 2013 Global Youth Conference, “Global Consciousness” on April 3, 2013 at Victoria Park CI! Global Youth Conference is a youth-powered project that aims to raise awareness on global issues and to give students the opportunity to get involved in their local and global community.
Last year, the Global Youth Conference, “Global Voices” was a big success, featuring
inspirational speakers from global organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Canadian Red
Cross, World Bank, and more. It also featured keynote speaker Scott Hammel, an illusionist and
professional escape artist, whose presentation had the audience gripping the edges of their
seats in shock and awe. This year’s Global Youth Conference will have an equally impressive
program, and a creative lunch menu to boot.
